Welcome to the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce. I am pleased to serve as the 2017 Chairman of the Board and am proud to be a part of this vibrant and enthusiastic business community. Our Chamber’s Mission Statement reads, “We are dedicated to promoting business development and economic growth in our area.” As business leaders in this community, we work to effectively and successfully offer a platform so our area’s industries and companies can continue to thrive and evolve.
Mukilteo is a waterfront city just 30 minutes north of Seattle, and has been ranked on several occasions in the Top 10 Small Towns of America in which to live, work, and play. With Boeing, their ancillary partners, and four air museums, we are leaders in the aerospace industry, serve as a gateway to the southern part of Whidbey Island, and remain visible in an ever-widening economic infrastructure of tech companies and start-ups. Our role as a chamber is to keep our hand on the pulse of the economy and develop strategies that keep our community active and relevant.
With an ever-changing global climate, careful planning and conservative but forward-thinking actions on the part of the Chamber, we will enable us to seek opportunities beneficial for our businesses. We continue to present our chamber members with ways to network, offer educational opportunities or leadership courses, and foster ways to actively sustain a viable business community.
Throughout the year, we offer programs like our monthly Business After Hours, Breakfast at the Staybridge, Lunch & Learn, and recently, our fledgling program, Next Generation: Mukilteo (young professionals). We host several area-wide events that spotlight members in our Chamber, such as the Health & Wellness Fair, Cheers! Mukilteo, Car Show, Outdoor Movies and Amazing Race Mukilteo to name a few. Our Chamber nurtures ways to partner and bolster our businesses and community at large.
We will continue to be vigilant and alert to the needs of our business community and work to provide a sounding board for our members.
Our Chamber office also serves as an Information Center, and welcomes visits from both residents and business leaders as well as those passing through Mukilteo. For questions about membership, Chamber activities and programs, or simply about the community in general, interested persons may stop in or call 425-347-1456.
Again, welcome to the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce.
