If you are curious about life on Puget Sound’s beaches and enjoy sharing what you know with others, take 13 hours of training with WSU Extension Beach Watchers to learn about marine life and how to share your knowledge with the public. Then volunteer 9 hours at 3 events with Beach Watchers during the spring and summer to share what you have learned in the Mukilteo and Stanwood areas. The training will be at Mukilteo’s Rose Hill Center on April 15 and 22 from 9AM – 3:30 PM. An application due on April 1, a free background check and a $10 materials fee are required. Waivers are available upon request. For more information, visit www.beachwatchers.wsu.edu/Snohomish/training or contact Yolimar Rivera: (425) 357-6029, firstname.lastname@example.org.
