Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES), “Black Wings: American Dreams of Flight” will be at the Future of Flight Aviation Center, Mukilteo, WA, April 3 through June 14, 2015. This exciting and vibrant exhibition examines the contributions of some of the most important African American aviators from the past and present who helped make the dream of careers in flight and space exploration possible. The local presentation is supported by Snohomish County Airport. Local Snohomish County residents are invited to attend the opening weekend of the exhibition – April 3 – 5, 2015, for FREE.  Proof of residency required (driver’s license or utility bill).
