The main function of a Chamber Ambassador is to help promote the Chamber. The duties of an Ambassador are designed to help make Chamber events more enjoyable and fun for everyone. Ambassadors are often the first person a visitor meets at a Chamber events. An ambassador:

• Identifies visitors and introduce themselves at Chamber events.
• Looks for members or visitors who are less extroverted and engages in meaningful conversations and helps make introductions.
• Enjoy having a good time in a professional environment.
• Projects a positive image of the Chamber and encourages other businesses to join.
• Is willing to volunteer a couple of hours a month.
• Participate at occasional Ambassador meetings.
• Attend Chamber ribbon cuttings, grand openings, programs, and other Chamber events.
• Assist with member retention.
