Meet Assistance League of Everett
Assistance League of Everett is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization whose philanthropic programs promote the well-being and self-esteem of children, teens and adults in Snohomish County. They are a local chapter of the National Assistance League organization.
Assistance League of Everett was founded in 1965 and currently has around 300 members. Driving on Evergreen Way (5107 Evergreen Way, Everett) you have likely seen their building and Thrift Shop and wondered what this organization does. Their largest program, Operation School Bell, provides children and teens with a weeks’ worth of new school clothing. Other programs provide financial aid to graduating high school seniors, scholarships to Everett Community College students, clothing and hygiene kits for assault victims, a voucher referral program to shop at our Thrift Shop for displaced individuals and families, and much more.
To learn how to get involved in Assistance League, a 100% volunteer run organization, contact 425-252-3011. Mark your calendar and join us at the April 12 Chamber Business After Hours at Assistance League for food, networking, fun and a tour of the facility.
