Marilyn has more than 25 years working in the IT world with both large and small systems. In the corporate world, she focused on identifying the system needs and implementation process for the company. She then wrote the training and user manuals for the new systems, and facilitated employee training.
She and her family spent six years in Europe (Italy and Belgium) where she taught computer classes to Department of Defense, Department of State, NATO and Partnership for Peace member nation dependents. While in Belgium, Marilyn also worked as a web developer for the Department of State, US Mission to the European Union.
Here in Washington she is active in the community and enjoys using her organizational and project management skills volunteering with local non-profit organizations. Marilyn specializes in developing easy-to-understand user manuals and enjoys teaching small groups and individuals. On the web design side, she caters to small businesses, non-profits and youth oriented groups. She holds a degree in Web Development and is both a Microsoft and Adobe Certified Trainer.
