It’s hard to believe that yesterday and all night long, Snohomish County was rocked by torrential rains and 50+ mph winds. According to Snohomish County PUD, as of 9:30 a.m. on November 18th, 65,000 customers in the county as well as Camano Island are still without power. Power has been retored to all substations, but they still have 36 breakers open. Two transmission lines segments are still out. The first order of business is restoring remaining transmission lines that are out then restoring distribution lines, which feed homes, schools and businesses.
If you are without power, the PUD already knows that, so there’s no reason to report it. However, do report downed power lines or other serious damages by calling 425-783-1001. Information is also being provided to local radio stations.
